I-CAN LEARN

I-CAN LEARN is an initiative of the Western Cape Government’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism, in partnership with IBM’s Digital-Nation Africa, Google’s Digital Garage and the Western Cape Co-Lab at the University of the Western Cape.

Public access: It provides free digital skills courses to the public at government operated sites across the province, such as selected Libraries and Youth Cafés. The project will be scaled in future to include more public access facilities.

Private access: I-CAN Learn can also be accessed by using your own device and data, as the content is online and can be completed at your own pace. So you don’t have to visit an I-CAN Learn site if it’s not close to you. Simply sign on and complete the courses from the comfort of your home or workplace.
